Show And Tell Tuesday!

I'm linking up with Sunny Days in Second Grade and Blog Hoppin' to show off a few things I've already prepared or used in my classroom from my purchases!

I'll put a link to all the products- just click if you want to read more or buy, too!

This first product, I'm so excited to use starting tomorrow! It's a product from Aimee V. -Pencils, Books, and Dirty Looks -called Comprehension Workstation Visualization Jar. I don't have any jars, but I have sand pails (because my room's theme is the beach) so I used that instead! The students will read one of the 36 cards (yahoo! This station will last forever!!!) with an excerpt from a good "vivid" book, and then do a graphic organizer showing their mental image. She even includes a few different kinds of graphic organizers, so I am going to let my students have free choice over which they will complete.

Another fun reading product I downloaded was (The Creative Chalkboard) Krista Wallden's Creative Reading Response Sheets For Any Book 2 (ok and I downloaded #1, too LOL). I will be using the pages in my classroom, but the ones from her 2nd set are PERFECT for homework reading responses! They got their first one this week to complete by Friday!
While I was there, I had to grab her Borders Mega Pack too! Be looking for those in my upcoming units! :)
I figured it would be appropriate to link up with Monday Made It for this since it's HER product! Ha!! I snagged a few freebies while I was shopping- one that I LOVE is Tara's (4th Grade Frolics) Boggle Love Letters! I've been wanting to set up a "Boggle Board" for some word work fun, and this motivated me to do it!!
If you create a Boggle Board (or if you already have one), visit this site: Boggle Solver - It takes away the stress of trying to figure out a set-up of letters (click on enter a Boggle Board and then click the Random Board button) and it also gives you a list you can print of all possible words- which you can provide as an "answer key" for them to see how they did when they finish!

Snagged up Little Miss Organized-Amy's Valentine's Week's Worth of Work for my kiddo's grammar homework next week. They'll love it! I also got the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatball's Week's Worth of Work- I plan on creating a mentor text unit for the book, so I'll use it the week we do that unit! :)

The last product that I'm sharing, I actually got as a give-away last week but I still wanted to include it because I got it ready for the kiddos to use and it's AWESOME! I'm using it in my Math Literature station in Math Workshop. It's from Hilary at Rockin' Teacher Materials- Math Mystery: Case of the Valentine Villian. She actually has them for different grade levels and many other different mysteries, too! This is the 4th grade one. :)

I think my kiddos are going to have so much fun with it!

Look for more products in the next few weeks! These are only just a few of my purchases. :) Gosh I remember the days I used to spend hundreds on teacher resource books (which I have proof of on my shelves, as you have seen...) and now they just SIT on those shelves! TPT is so much better!!! Thank you to all the wonderful sellers making such WONDERFUL products!!
