Thursday Tech Tip for Teachers!

Hey friends! Just a quick bloggie today. I wanted to let you know that my Teacher's Notebook Store will be participating in the Super Sale February 2nd AND 3rd...

and also the Super Sale on Teachers Pay Teachers on February 3rd!

I'm linking up with Fern Smith's Classroom Ideas and Katie at Queen of the First Grade Jungle to share something that has helped me move away from a bajillion flash drives (and the fear that I will lose one)!

It's not "new" so you might have heard of it already, but if you haven't tried it, I encourage you to check it out... it is AWESOME! I guess I should tell you what it is huh?

It's completely free. You can store pictures, video, documents, etc and then access them from ANYWHERE. This includes your iPads, phones, and other computers! That means no more emailing things to your home email from school to finish after dinner... just save it in your dropbox! And the great thing is- it's similar to GoogleDocs in that you can share with others with an invitation. Once you share a folder with someone, then anything they add to the folder, or you add to the folder, you both can access! It's great for collaboration! *wink wink*

Hey, did you notice? I have 75 followers! That's three-fourths of a hundred! (How'd you like that fraction??) So that means I better start thinking about a giveaway... hmmmm..... :)

  3. Is it like google docs where you can't change the font? I thought you had to pay for it?? I've heard about it for a while but know very little about it. I just got in trouble for using to much room on the drive at school and I'm always worried Chloe might eat my flashdrive again or Kipton will yank it out. :O/

    1. As long as you have the font on those computers, you can! It's not its own word processor like google docs, so you'll still open in Word or Excel or whatever. It's just like a flash drive but nothing to plug in! :o)
